As an SMMA Operator, you work with precision and thrive in an environment where accuracy is essential. As an SMMA Operator, you are responsible for placing components on printed circuit boards using an SMD machine. You ensure the SMD production line runs as efficiently as possible, executing orders based on drawings and instruction lists, and adjusting the machines and components accordingly. You enjoy the challenge of delivering the right quantity and quality of SMD‑assembled PCBs within the production schedule, in a high‑mix, low‑volume environment where proto orders are not always fully defined.
You are involved in preparation, execution, and additional tasks to keep the production process running smoothly. You are a true team player, taking on tasks such as preparing orders, performing maintenance activities, and cleaning machines and work areas. You are used to working according to work instructions, regulations, and drawings, and you can determine your own work sequence while keeping production deadlines in mind, where communication is key. As an SMMA Operator, you collaborate with planners, process engineers, and manufacturing engineers, and you report directly to one of the two team leaders and coordinators of the SMMA department.
