Job summary

Neways Electronics International seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives across a high-mix, low-volume production environment. You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to implement strategic improvements and sustain gains.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, hands-on leadership, and a strong Lean mindset to energize teams and translate insights into action. English proficiency is required; Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or business field.
• Experience in a production environment with Lean/Six Sigma is preferred.
• Strong English communication; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, guide, and implement improvement projects to drive growth and control.
• Support the development of strategic/operational goals for NAA.
• Lead and sustain large improvement programs with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize the current Lean/CI structure within the organization.
• Coach colleagues in Lean Production methods to achieve goals.

The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist takes a leading role in the improvement team and supports the Operations Manager and the production organization with the challenges of managing a large production operation. The focus will primarily be on production, but with strong cross-functional elements, particularly in Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. You are expected to initiate and facilitate changes, working closely with the organization to implement strategic plans and initiatives.

Your daily responsibilities include

The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist uses Lean and Six Sigma methods to solve problems that do not have clear-cut solutions. Neways NAA focuses on high-mix, low-volume production, which brings a unique dynamic and complexity. You translate data into valuable information and realize improvements. You work with several Continuous Improvement colleagues and the broader organization to implement and sustain improvements.

• Initiating, guiding, and implementing improvement projects that drive Neways NAA’s growth and control
• Supporting the development of NAA’s “strategic/operational” goals
• Guiding and supporting large improvement programs
• Optimizing the current improvement structure within NAA
• Implementing lean management methods (e.g., standard work for leaders, 6S, Kaizen workshops, value stream mapping, SMED)
• Training and coaching colleagues with Lean Production methods to support goal achievement
