Job summary

IFF in Tilburg biedt een kans om door te groeien naar een allround operator binnen een ervaren productie-team dat werkt met hoogwaardige grondstoffen voor parfums en geuren die wereldwijd worden toegepast in producten zoals zeep, cosmetica en parfums.

Je leert werken met verschillende ingrediënten en apparatuur, met een focus op veiligheid en kwaliteit. De functie vereist minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in logistiek of productie en beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels (minimaal B2).

Qualifications

• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in logistiek of productie.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels (minimaal B2).
• Nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsbewust werken.
• Lichamelijke arbeid kan vereist zijn, tillen tot 25 kg.
• Verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel op het gebied van veiligheid en werken met geurstoffen en chemische grondstoffen.
• Teamgericht en betrouwbare werkhouding.

Responsibilities

• Verzamelen van grondstoffen volgens productie-recepten.
• Nauwkeurig wegen van poeders en vloeistoffen, soms tot 30 verschillende ingrediënten per batch.
• Mengen en voorbereiden van geurstoffen voor verdere verwerking.
• Bedienen en controleren van productieapparatuur.
• Kwaliteitscontrole en naleving van productierichtlijnen.
• Werkplek schoon, veilig en georganiseerd houden.
• Samenwerken met collega's om het productieproces soepel te laten verlopen.
• Nauwkeurigheid is essentieel: kleine variaties kunnen eindgeur beïnvloeden.

Wat je gaat doen

Do you already have experience in production or logistics and want to develop your skills further? At IFF in Tilburg, you have the opportunity to grow into an allround operator while working with high-quality raw materials used in fragrances for well-known products worldwide. You'll join an experienced production team, learn how to work with different ingredients and equipment, and take on an increasingly important role in the production process on the Scent department, where raw materials are processed into fragrance ingredients used in products such as detergents, cosmetics and perfumes. Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting raw materials according to production recipes;
• Accurately weighing powders and liquids, sometimes up to 30 different ingredients per batch;
• Mixing and preparing fragrance materials for further processing;
• Operating and monitoring production equipment;
• Checking product quality and following production instructions;
• Keeping your workplace clean, safe and organised;
• Working closely with colleagues to keep the production process running smoothly.
• Accuracy is essential: even small differences in ingredients can affect the final fragrance.

You’ll work in a rotating 5-shift system, with the following shift times:

• Morning: 07:00 – 15:00
• Afternoon: 15:00 – 23:00
• Night: 23:00 – 07:00

Wat we je bieden

• €21.10 gross per hour, plus 30% shift allowance on all hours (approximately €27.43 gross per hour including allowance);
• 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance;
• 13th month of 8,33% included in a flex budget;
• €0.21 per kilometre travel allowance;

Functie-eisen

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or production;
• A good command of Dutch and/or English (minimum B2 level);
• An accurate and quality-conscious way of working;
• The ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 25 kg;
• A responsible attitude towards safety and working with fragrances and chemical raw materials;
• A team-oriented mindset and a reliable work ethic.

Previous experience in the fragrance or chemical industry is not required, as long as you are comfortable working with these materials.
