Job summary

IFF in Tilburg is seeking an allround operator to grow within the Scent department, transforming raw materials into fragrance ingredients used in detergents, cosmetics and perfumes. You will join an experienced production team and advance through hands-on work with various ingredients and equipment.

Responsibilities include weighing multiple ingredients, mixing fragrance materials, operating production equipment, ensuring quality, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics or production.
• Language: Dutch and/or English (minimum B2).
• Accurate and quality-conscious approach to work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 kg.
• Responsible attitude to safety and handling fragrances and chemical raw materials.
• Team-oriented mindset with reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collect raw materials according to production recipes.
• Accurately weigh powders and liquids (up to 30 ingredients per batch).
• Mix and prepare fragrance materials for processing.
• Operate and monitor production equipment.
• Check product quality and follow production instructions.
• Keep the workplace clean, safe and organized.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth production.

Do you already have experience in production or logistics and want to develop your skills further? At IFF in Tilburg, you have the opportunity to grow into an allround operator while working with high-quality raw materials used in fragrances for well-known products worldwide.

You'll join an experienced production team, learn how to work with different ingredients and equipment, and take on an increasingly important role in the production process on the Scent department, where raw materials are processed into fragrance ingredients used in products such as detergents, cosmetics and perfumes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting raw materials according to production recipes;
• Accurately weighing powders and liquids, sometimes up to 30 different ingredients per batch;
• Mixing and preparing fragrance materials for further processing;
• Operating and monitoring production equipment;
• Checking product quality and following production instructions;
• Keeping your workplace clean, safe and organised;
• Working closely with colleagues to keep the production process running smoothly.
• Accuracy is essential: even small differences in ingredients can affect the final fragrance.

You'll work in a rotating 5-shift system, with the following shift times:

• Morning: 07:00 – 15:00
• Afternoon: 15:00 – 23:00
• Night: 23:00 – 07:00

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or production;
• A good command of Dutch and/or English (minimum B2 level);
• An accurate and quality-conscious way of working;
• The ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 25 kg;
• A responsible attitude towards safety and working with fragrances and chemical raw materials;
• A team-oriented mindset and a reliable work ethic.

Previous experience in the fragrance or chemical industry is not required, as long as you are comfortable working with these materials.
