Job summary

Cefetra Rotterdam invites enthusiastic students to join our Operations team for a 3- to 4-month internship focused on automating order entry and process improvements in a fast-growing international trading environment.

You will collaborate with planners, operational colleagues and developers to ensure new processes work effectively in practice, while gaining hands-on experience with AI-powered automation in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Affinitiy with digitalization, automation and AI.
• Enjoy analyzing processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Comfortable working with data and digital tools; strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations team in the current order entry process.
• Test AI-driven order entry functionalities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and operational requirements.
• Document findings and provide structured feedback to the development team.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate outcomes.
• Monitor process performance and data quality.
• Help drive the transition from manual activities towards automation.
• Act as a bridge between business users and developers.
