Job summary

Cefetra Rotterdam offers an exciting internship opportunity for a student to shape future operational processes through automation. You will join the Operations team to support an automated order entry project, acting as the link between planners, operators and developers.

You will test AI-driven functionalities, document findings and help accelerate the transition from manual processes to automation in a fast-growing international trading environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Strong affinity with digitalization, automation and AI.
• Enjoy analyzing processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Comfortable working with data and digital tools.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proactive, structured and able to work independently.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations team in the current order entry process.
• Test newly developed AI-driven order entry functionalities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and operational requirements.
• Document findings and provide structured feedback to the development team.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate outcomes.
• Monitor process performance and data quality.
• Help drive the transition from manual activities towards automation.
• Act as a bridge between business users and developers.
• Gain hands-on experience in Operations, process optimization, AI applications and change management.
