Job summary

Cefetra Rotterdam is offering a challenging internship to help shape automation of order entry and optimize operational processes. You will bridge Operations and our internal development team, supporting the transition from manual tasks to automated workflows in an international trading setting.

The role suits a student in Business, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn about AI applications, change management, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Strong affinity with digitalization, automation and AI.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations team in the current order entry process.
• Test newly developed AI-driven order entry functionalities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and operational requirements.
• Document findings and provide structured feedback to the development team.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate outcomes.
• Monitor process performance and data quality.
• Help drive the transition from manual activities to automation.
• Act as a bridge between business users and developers.
• Gain hands-on experience in Operations, process optimization, AI applications and change management within an international trading environment.
