Operations Manager Transport Solutions

Location: Moerdijk / Tholen, West‑Nederland

Pallets, pakketten, B2C, B2B, outbound, inbound en return transporten. Together with your team you ensure that everything in transport management runs smoothly. Ready to make a difference?

Responsibilities

You report to the Director Transport Solutions NL. As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for optimizing the transport process in the region with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will manage diverse transport activities, maintain close contact with customers and stakeholders, and contribute to the future of DSV as part of the management team.

• Coordinate and optimize daily transport activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure safe, timely and correct execution of all transport processes.
• Provide management information and drive KPI-based decision making.
• Implement a proactive and inspiring personnel policy.
• Strengthen your team and continuously stimulate improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

Ideally you bring:

• A passion for transport and the ability to inspire others.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with strategic insight.
• Proven experience (5‑10 years) in a transport or logistics environment.
• Effective English communication skills (spoken and written).
• The ambition to grow with DSV in a dynamic environment.
