Job summary

Jobtailor in Venlo, Netherlands is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily activities at our Venlo location. You will manage a team of 3-5 direct reports and influence up to 200 FTEs through effective logistics leadership.

You will optimize processes to boost productivity, quality and customer satisfaction, identify bottlenecks, and develop your team with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a logistics environment.
• Analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and define solutions or process improvements.
• Knowledge of HR tasks such as absenteeism, sustainable employability, reintegration, hiring new colleagues, employee evaluations, and staff development plans.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.

• Manage a team of three to five direct reports and indirectly for around 200 FTEs
• Lead the daily operations and ensure that logistics processes run efficiently and effectively
• Constantly work on optimizing these processes and improving performance in terms of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Identify bottlenecks, analyze them, and come up with practical solutions for smooth operations
• Motivate and develop the team, placing talent in the right positions
• Ensure employees have the right skills and resources to perform their work optimally
• Create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
