Job summary

Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is offering an Operations Management Trainee internship to learn how hotel operations run on both strategic and operational levels. You will support daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Engineering while collaborating with the management team on key topics.

You will gain hands-on experience on the floor and exposure to strategic decision-making, with a structured internship program, meals provided, and potential for continued

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hotel/hospitality management program (HBO level).
• Available for a minimum of 6 months.
• Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Analytical mindset with a hands-on attitude.
• Proactive, structured, and eager to learn.
• Flexible and willing to work operational shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations across departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Engineering.
• Work closely with the Management Team on operational and strategic topics.
• Analyze operational performance (guest satisfaction, productivity, service flow) and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to projects focused on efficiency, quality improvement, and guest experience.
• Act as a link between operations and management, ensuring clear communication and execution.
• Take on Duty Management shifts, gaining responsibility on the floor and acting as a point of contact.
• Handle guest feedback and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Support in planning, reporting, and optimizing operational processes.
• Learn how decisions are made on a management level and how they translate into the day-to-day operation.
