Job summary

ABC People is partnering with a fast-growing fintech scale-up in Amsterdam that reshapes payments. As Operations Lead you’ll own day-to-day operations, optimize processes, drive AI-enabled improvements, and align with Sales, Support and external partners.

You’ll build KPI reporting, own system integrations (CRM, payment platforms, support tools), and lead a high-performing team to translate data into strategic actions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in operations, including time in a leadership role.
• Proven track record building and implementing AI-driven solutions.
• Experience with system integrations and automated workflows.
• AI-first mindset: you default to AI when solving operational problems.
• Hands-on process optimization experience in a fast-growing environment.
• Strong KPI reporting and translating data into strategy.
• Comfortable negotiating with partners and vendors.
• Affinity with fintech, payments, or SaaS is a strong plus.

About the role

As Operations Lead, you drive a high-performing Operations team building payment and POS solutions for the hospitality sector. Reporting directly to the COO, you own day-to-day operations, process optimization, system integrations, team performance, and collaboration with Sales, Support, and external partners.

In a scale-up, leading means more than managing: you set the direction, build the structure, and jump in where needed. You spot inefficiencies, innovate, and turn data into decisions. AI isn't a buzzword, it's a tool you use to build, automate, and improve.
