Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Onsite Coordinator at Schiphol-Rijk to coordinate daily RMSD operations, support workload planning, and ensure timely, compliant sample management in a GMP-regulated environment.

You will work closely with laboratory, warehouse and client stakeholders to optimize scheduling, dashboards, KPIs and issue resolution, while maintaining strong service delivery and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory, GMP-regulated, or pharmaceutical environment is required.
• Experience coordinating operational activities, schedules, and cross-functional workflows is required.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring small teams is preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMP principles and quality systems is preferred.
• Experience with laboratory operations, sample management, logistics, or related services is preferred.
• Experience with project management methodologies and data analysis tools is preferred.
• Experience with LIMS and other laboratory information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily RMSD operations in accordance with established procedures and client requirements.
• Coordinate sample receipt, processing, and shipment activities to ensure on-time and first-time-right completion.
• Monitor daily workload priorities and maintain oversight of operational dashboards, priority lists, and service level commitments.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Incoming and Sampling teams regarding shipment forecasts, missing documentation, relabeling requirements, and operational priorities.
• Develop and maintain daily and weekly work schedules to ensure effective resource allocation and service delivery.
• Track, maintain, and report operational metrics and key performance indicators.
• Identify, investigate, and elevate operational issues while driving timely resolution and corrective actions.
• Serve as Non-conformance initiator or assign appropriate delegates for deviations associated with sample duty activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, databases, and operational reports in compliance with GMP requirements and company procedures.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with laboratory personnel, warehouse operations, client representatives, and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
