Job summary

Avantor is seeking a reliable Lab Logistics & Inventory Operator in Leiden to handle day-to-day inventory management, receiving, labeling, storage, and distribution of materials. You will contribute to stock accuracy, organize materials, and support rotating weekend schedule while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and able to collaborate with laboratory and operations teams to keep daily workflows

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics, inventory or lab experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Experience with inventory management systems and/or barcode scanning tools is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper handling, tracking, and delivery of samples according to established procedures.
• Participate in a rotating weekend sample support schedule approximately every 4 to 6 weeks, covering two consecutive weekends as required.
• Receive and process goods deliveries.
• Scan, record, and maintain inventory within inventory management systems.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure adequate supply availability.
• Label, organize, and store materials accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock audits when required.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with laboratory and operational teams to support daily workflow requirements.
