Job summary

Gisou in Amsterdam offers an IT Internship where you will support daily operations and improve the digital workplace. Under guidance from the IT team, you will assist with hardware, software, and user management across onsite and remote environments.

You will gain hands-on experience in IT processes, security awareness, and documentation while collaborating with the MSP and IT Director to drive efficient workplace technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Windows and macOS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Office apps.
• Experience with IT support / helpdesk / workplace management.
• Affinity with live, user-facing support and ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with MSP coordination and IT security basics.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line IT support to internal users (onsite and remote).
• Deliver hands-on workplace support (hardware, software, device setup).
• Manage and maintain end-user devices (Windows and macOS).
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Office apps.
• Coordinate with the MSP and follow up on tickets.
• Assist with IT projects, including implementation and coordination.
• Create and maintain IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Support the IT Director with operational tasks.
• Contribute to improving IT processes and user experience.
• Promote Security Awareness within the organization.
