Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Leiden, Netherlands is seeking an Associate Process Engineer (initially 1-year fixed term) to own and improve manufacturing processes, applying Lean Six Sigma and data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to raise safety, quality and reliability while developing new technologies and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, or related field) and 0-3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, process improvement, or technical operations.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve manufacturing processes as the technical owner.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive improvements.
