Johnson & Johnson in Groningen is seeking an Associate Process Engineer within the Supply Chain Engineering function to support manufacturing, process, and packaging operations in a regulated setting. The role emphasizes structured problem solving, data analysis, and collaboration across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

You will contribute to validation, change control, and GDP-compliant documentation while applying DOE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Material Science.
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience, including internships or co-op experience.
• Fundamental understanding of manufacturing or engineering principles.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support within manufacturing and process areas.
• Identify and resolve equipment, process, and product issues using data analysis.
• Support process improvements to improve efficiency, yield, and reliability.
• Participate in validation and change control activities.
• Prepare and maintain GDP-compliant technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.
• Communicate findings and risks clearly to stakeholders.
