Job summary

DFDS seeks an experienced Sous Chef for the KING SEAWAYS, operating between Amsterdam and Newcastle. You will co-manage the galley team of 20–25 staff, uphold standards, and partner with the Head Chef to enhance quality, guest experience, and sales outcomes.

The role is onboard with long shifts, a 14-on/14-off rhythm, and benefits including free board and lodging and crew travel perks. Fluency in English and culinary qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• High level spoken English (medium level written English acceptable).
• Diploma as a chef and active food service qualification.
• Microsoft Office user level; ability to handle administrative tasks.
• Medical Certificate as an essential professional credential.
