Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is seeking a working foreman in greenery maintenance for the Sittard region. You will lead a team of at least two assistant gardeners, directing tasks and ensuring high-quality maintenance across public gardens and parks.

You report to the supervisor and coordinate with the district manager. You enjoy leading by example, working safely with tools like brushcutters and hedge trimmers, and you are the first point of contact on site.

Qualifications

• Lead and guide a team of at least 2 assistant gardeners
• Strong communication with colleagues and supervisors
• Reliable with relevant work experience
• VCA certificate (or willing to obtain one)
• Willingness to work safely and set a good example

Responsibilities

• Directing and guiding employees
• Reporting to the supervisor and holding discussions with the district manager
• Establishing, renovating and maintaining public gardens and parks, sports fields and company gardens
• Planting trees, shrubs and perennials
• Removing weeds
• Mowing greenery and paved areas
• You are the first point of contact at the work location
• Carrying out (light) administrative tasks for time registration
• You contribute to the execution of the work using tools like a brushcutter, hedge trimmer or hoe
• You know how to lead
• You have experience directing colleagues
• You have good communication skills
• You are reliable
• You already have relevant work experience
• You like to work safely
