For one of our clients, we are looking for a working foreman in landscaping. In this role, you are responsible for directing and guiding a great team of at least 2 assistant gardeners. Together with your team, you will go out to make sure your maintenance district looks top-notch. You direct your team and ensure the work is carried out correctly. Together, you make sure the grass really is greener. Besides carrying out assigned tasks, you also stay alert to spots where maintenance is needed. You raise these observations during meetings with the district manager, so action can be taken. Once a job is completed, you report back to the site supervisor. A good communication style is therefore important, both towards your colleagues and towards supervisors.
In addition, you are always eager to roll up your sleeves and get to work yourself, whether it's operating the brushcutter, working with the hedge trimmer, or using a hoe. You lead by setting a good example. Seeing immediate results from your work is what makes you feel good.
