Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten in Venray recruits a working foreman in landscaping. You will lead a team of at least two assistant gardeners, ensure the district's maintenance looks top-notch, and report to the site supervisor.

You will work hands-on with brushcutters, hedge trimmers, and hoes, setting a strong example, and you will communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have prior team-leading experience.
• Experience directing colleagues in outdoor maintenance.
• Strong communication skills with supervisors and crew.
• Reliable and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to obtain VCA certificate.
• Experience in landscaping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directing and guiding employees
• Reporting to the site supervisor and consulting with the district manager
• Constructing, renovating, and maintaining green spaces and parks, sports fields, and company gardens
• Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials
• Removing weeds
• Mowing green areas and paved surfaces
• You are the first point of contact at the work location
• Carrying out (light) administrative tasks for hours registration
• You contribute to carrying out the work. From working with a brushcutter to tasks involving manual tools
• You know how to lead a team
• You have experience directing colleagues
• You have good communication skills
• You are reliable
• You already have relevant work experience
• VCA certificate (or are willing to obtain one)
