Job summary

Nexcess is seeking an on-site Data Center Technician in Woerden, the Netherlands, to join our international team. This full-time role focuses on hands-on support for network and server hardware, with opportunities to install, upgrade, and troubleshoot equipment across our data centers.

You will manage tickets, maintain inventory in our EAM system, and collaborate to ensure high uptime while following company standards. A driver’s license and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Datacenter Technician or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Previous experience with support ticketing and warehouse systems is a plus.
• Electrical certifications are a plus.
• Ability to follow specified policies and procedures.
• Fluency in English.
• Flexibility with working hours; rotating 24/7 support.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support for maintaining and troubleshooting network and server equipment.
• Execute hardware installations, upgrades, and replacements of network devices, servers, and related components.
• Ensure upgrades and replacements meet company standards and operational requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve server hardware issues, conducting detailed tests for reliability.
• Manage and prioritize tasks using the company’s ticketing system to ensure timely resolutions.
• Maintain a clean warehouse/workspace and keep equipment properly stored and safe.
• Ensure inventory system (EAM) is up-to-date.
