Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Tender Engineer within the Product Line Cables & Pipelines in Gorinchem (NL). You will join a multidisciplinary tender team, organizing and managing the process from invitation to submittal, ensuring timely and compliant bids for offshore energy projects.

You will analyse client requests, coordinate with Engineering, Operations and Ship Management, liaise with procurement and suppliers, and draft compelling tender documentation to win bids while developing your

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• 7-8 years of relevant work experience in a similar position or project position.
• Experience in offshore energy industry, (shallow water) pipelay and/or offshore cable installation projects.
• Customer minded with a strong client-focus.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Solution driven mindset and hands-on approach.
• Collaborative way of working.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Analyse clients requests and develop execution strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations and Ship Management to draw up winning bid leading to a successful project.
• Assist Tender Team in producing accurate production and cost estimates.
• Liaise with subcontractors in coordination with procurement.
• Organise and manage tender processes and deliverables.
• Write tender documentation and deliverables.
• Continuously develop your market knowledge and opportunities for Van Oord.
