Job summary

We ARE Renewables is seeking a Project Engineer to contribute to subsea cable installation activities for offshore wind in an EPCI setting, based in the Netherlands. The role covers project preparations in the office and rotations visiting project sites worldwide.

The ideal candidate has MSc/BSc in Offshore/Marine Engineering and 3–5 years' experience with subsea cables, trenching, cable pull-in, and method statements; fluent English; willingness to travel offshore.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc offshore/marine engineering requested.
• Experience with subsea cables operations and installation methods.
• Fluent in English, willing to travel and work offshore.

Responsibilities

• Engineering, preparation and execution of projects.
• Developing method statements for offshore works.
• On-site optimization and implementation of method statements.
• Communicating between site/vessel and the office.
• Monitoring installation progress from the vessel bridge.
• Coordinating field activities and supporting Works Manager.
• Planning, production reporting and cost monitoring.
