Job summary

Oceans of Energy B.V. in the Netherlands seeks a Project Engineer to join the Projects Department, coordinating test campaigns and marine operations for offshore floating solar farms.

You will link Engineering, Project Management and Asset Management from a project execution perspective and contribute to delivering standards for future offshore solar projects. We look for 1–3 years of project engineering experience in renewables, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 1–3 years' experience in project engineering, preferably in renewables with offshore exposure.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication; Dutch native and fluent English.
• Willingness to travel offshore as required.

Responsibilities

• Build, commission and install offshore floating solar farms and keep them operational.
• Plan and execute marine/offshore operations (towing, anchor installations, cable work).
• Prepare project specs, review technical docs, support vendor quotations and drawings.
• Support Business Development in tenders and subsidy requests.
• Collaborate with design/engineering teams and resolve technical issues.
