Job summary

Konnektus bv. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to offshore and onshore oil & gas projects.

Design and specify electrical systems, equipment, and components, and ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE/ATEX standards and safety regulations. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, offshore, or energy sector.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ATEX standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during project execution, installation, and commissioning phases;
• Conduct calculations, prepare documentation, and review technical drawings and specifications;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, instrumentation, and project engineers;
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and propose technical improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas, offshore, or energy sector;
• Knowledge of applicable international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ATEX);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
