Job summary

Oak Offshore is seeking a skilled ROV Pilot / Technician for challenging offshore work in the Netherlands/Belgium. The role involves operating, maintaining and repairing ROV systems on diverse offshore projects, while ensuring safe and compliant operations in line with company and industry standards.

You will support mechanical, electrical or electronics tasks, maintain detailed logs, and coordinate with technical and SHE-Q teams to ensure equipment availability and readiness for projects.

Qualifications

• Valid safety VCA certification or equivalent.
• BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety training.
• Valid medical certificate fit for offshore work.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, tests and commissions ROV systems and related equipment.
• Carries out maintenance and repairs on ROVs and gear as required.
• Maintains pre- and post-job logs, fault finding, and interfaces with new sensors.
• Ensures operations and data recording are accurate.
• Liaises with technical departments and SHE-Q/onshore teams for parts and compliance.
• Adheres to health and safety requirements and company standards.
• Typical tasks vary by hardware area (mechanical, electrical, or electronics).
