Job summary

Madison People International is seeking a Project Engineer to strengthen the engineering and project delivery team. In this role you will bridge engineering design and offshore execution, ensuring that technical documentation, equipment planning and readiness are aligned before mobilization.

You will translate project scopes into detailed work packages, prepare method statements, perform lifting concept calculations and coordinate subsea and access systems, with a strong emphasis on HSE and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Naval Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in offshore project engineering.
• Strong background in offshore construction and heavy lifting.
• Practical offshore experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and reviewing/producing technical documentation.
• Willing to travel offshore for short rotations.

Responsibilities

• Translating project scopes into detailed technical work packages
• Preparing method statements and execution procedures
• Developing lifting concepts, including calculations and technical drawings
• Coordinating scopes related to access systems, structural works, and subsea support activities
• Preparing material take-offs and defining required equipment
• Attending yard visits and site inspections; documenting findings and follow-up actions
• Supporting offshore mobilization phases and ensuring readiness prior to execution
• Liaising with subcontractors and resolving technical challenges
• Safeguarding HSE and documentation standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Assisting the Project Manager with progress tracking and technical reporting
