Job summary

OEG is seeking a Project Engineer for its Subsea Division in Den Helder. The role focuses on delivering subsea energy projects safely and efficiently, coordinating across tendering, contracting, and offshore operations.

The successful candidate will manage technical documentation, liaise with clients and suppliers, and lead kick-off and review meetings to ensure scope, schedule and quality commitments are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent demonstrable industry experience.
• Current Medical (desirable).
• Valid Offshore Survival and Firefighting certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Review technical project documentation during tender phase and support Tendering.
• Review documentation after contract award and highlight changes or discrepancies.
• Lead project kick-off meetings with clear scope, objectives and delivery approach.
• Define customer deliverables, requirements and timelines.
• Capture and communicate lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate procurement, fabrication and installation documentation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on offshore construction techniques and methodologies.
• Ensure all engineered items meet safety and performance standards.
• Manage interfaces with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
