Rederij Groen BV is seeking an Operational Buyer to join our Procurement team in The Hague. You will support procurement of operational goods and vessel supplies, while coordinating with Technical, QHSE, Chartering, Operations and Crewing to keep offshore activities running smoothly.

You will manage POs, monitor deliveries and contribute to process improvements, ensuring quality, safety and reliability. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is advantageous; ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in supply chain, logistics, business administration, engineering, or equivalent through work experience.
• Procurement/purchasing/logistics/supply chain experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Support procurement of operational goods, consumables and vessel supplies to ensure timely offshore support.
• Coordinate purchasing with technical and operational departments for fleet maintenance and projects.
• Manage purchase orders; follow up on deliveries and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and reporting in company systems.
• Support Category Managers in implementing supplier agreements and procurement improvements.
• Monitor supplier contracts for compliance, expiry dates, pricing and service commitments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, safety and delivery reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing workflows and processes.
• Participate in team meetings and share ideas to support growth and professionalisation.
• Build knowledge of offshore and maritime supply market and develop supplier relationships.
