Job summary

N-Sea is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our Dordrecht team. You will drive procurement strategies, source materials and services, and negotiate favorable contracts while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Based in Dordrecht, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to sustainable procurement practices within our expanding subsea solutions business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in SCM, business or related field.
• 3+ years in procurement/buying, preferably technical.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate with functional teams to ensure goods meet standards and fit for purpose.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for commercial quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and foster relationships for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement support.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Stay informed on market trends to drive procurement efficiencies.
