Job summary

Allseas Group S.A. is seeking a technical software engineer to join the inspection systems team. You will contribute across the development lifecycle, from ideation with stakeholders to field deployment, blending hardware with software to transform measurement data into practical user benefits.

The role emphasizes creativity, analytical thinking, and collaboration with R&D, electrical, mechanical, and software engineers. Travel to offshore locations for deployment is possible.

Qualifications

• A degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Curiosity, resilience, and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and advanced algorithms, including geometric algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions for inspection systems;
• Collaborate with experts in R&D, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering to develop advanced inspection solutions;
• Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to deployment and field testing;
• Integrate hardware components—such as lasers, cameras, ultrasonic probes, and robotics—into robust software solutions;
