Job summary

Allseas Group S.A. is seeking a Service Technical Mechanical professional to inspect, maintain, repair and modify mechanical equipment across its vessels, yards and workshops.

The role focuses on ensuring reliability and readiness of machinery for complex offshore construction projects. Ideal candidates will have an MBO degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field, at least 2 years of offshore or heavy machinery maintenance experience, and strong hands-on mechanical skills with good

Qualifications

• MBO degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably offshore/shipping/heavy machinery.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems and marine machinery.
• Familiarity with classification society rules and mechanical safety standards.
• Hands-on mentality with safety- and result-orientation.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel and work offshore as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair and modify mechanical equipment on vessels, yards and workshops.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems and components (e.g. winches, gearboxes, rotating equipment).
• Assist in assembly and commissioning of mechanical installations.
• Supervise subcontractors performing mechanical work when applicable.
• Coordinate with hydraulics, electrical and structural teams and maintain service reports.
