Job summary

Allseas Group S.A. is seeking an R&D Engineer Welding to join our welding development team, bridging research and production on our fleet of pipelay vessels.

You will translate the latest developments into practical solutions that withstand harsh offshore environments and meet client standards. We require a MSc in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science, familiarity with offshore welding standards, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or similar.
• Familiarity with welding standards relevant to offshore construction.
• IWE or equivalent certification is beneficial.
• 0-4 years relevant experience.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between experimental welding research and production facilities on pipelay vessels.
• Translate developments into practical solutions that withstand harsh offshore environments and client standards.
