Job summary

Allseas is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join the go-to team for our vessels’ hydraulic systems. You will contribute across all phases from conceptual design to commissioning, coordinating with Heavy Lift Engineering, Operations and Technical Department.

You will design safe, reliable hydraulic solutions, prepare technical specifications and procedures, and provide offshore support during project execution on vessel or yard. Fluency in English is required, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

Design and engineering of hydraulic systems for vessels.
Experience with 2D/3D modelling software (Hydrosym, AutoCAD, Inventor).
Fluent in English; Dutch knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and engineering: provision of solutions to facilitate the project with safe, reliable and innovative designs, technical specifications and procedures.
Support and stakeholder management: Working in a multi-disciplinary team environment aligning your work with the team lead and the various stakeholders. Contribute to departmental development. Provision of offshore support during project execution on vessel or yard.
Documentation for approval: Preparation of documentation for projects covering the technical solutions, models and drawings, calculations, method statements and operational procedures ensuring they meet safety, performance and regulatory standards for class and/or client approval.
Interface with various disciplines to define efficient and cost-effective solutions and provide ongoing engineering support.
