Job summary

OEG Energy Group in Den Helder, Netherlands, seeks a Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation. You will assist the workshop team, conduct testing, and ensure work complies with IMCA, WOD-SOE, IRATA, and OEG Subsea standards, while upholding QHSE policies and ISO requirements.

Fluent Dutch and English, a relevant diploma, and SCC (VCA) certification are essential; 1–3 years’

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent in pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical engineering.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Valid SCC (VCA) certification.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical equipment components.
  • Assist the workshop team with maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly and repair activities.
  • Conduct testing of all equipment to ensure functionality and readiness.
  • Ensure activities comply with procedures, industry standards and company quality requirements (IMCA, WOD-SOE, IRATA, OEG Subsea).
  • Comply with health and safety policies and ISO/QHSE requirements.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors on maintenance and operation of equipment and systems.
  • Manage mobilisation/demobilisation of equipment locally and internationally.
  • Provide support for other operational activities as required.
  • Ensure changes are authorised and documented with drawings and technical documentation.
