Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in the Netherlands is seeking a Workshop Technician to join our Veenoord/Nieuw-Amsterdam site. You will inspect, repair, and maintain equipment in the workshop, following our quality and safety standards and collaborating with the team.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will perform pressure testing, documentation, and safe equipment handling, while contributing to cost tracking and continuous improvement in a dynamic, global energy company that values inclusion and equal

Qualifications

• V(MBO)/TL in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a technical or workshop environment; energy industry is a plus.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Skilled with hand tools and power tools.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, inspect, test, and maintain TechnipFMC and customer equipment in line with specifications and quality standards.
• Perform pressure testing, refurbishment, and maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable equipment performance.
• Complete required technical and quality documentation, including test and inspection reports.
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and material‑handling devices to support workshop and logistics activities.
• Support cost tracking and work‑order execution by accurately recording required data in company systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Proactively report any operational, quality, or safety issues to the Workshop Manager and log them in the appropriate systems.
