WTS Energy is seeking an experienced Offshore Safety Officer to join an ambitious FPSO project. You will work closely with offshore management, operations and HSE teams to uphold health, safety and environmental standards and promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires practical knowledge of offshore HSE, risk assessment, PTW systems and incident investigations, with the ability to engage multicultural teams and deliver safety induktions, audits and continuous improvement across offshore

Qualificações

• Several years of offshore HSE/Safety experience on oil & gas assets.
• Experience on FPSO projects or offshore production facilities.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations and risk management.
• Experience with PTW, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Fluent English and ability to engage with multicultural offshore teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support the implementation and monitoring of HSE policies onboard the FPSO.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits; follow up on corrective actions.
• Promote proactive safety culture and workforce engagement in HSE initiatives.
• Support risk assessments, JSA, toolbox talks and PTW activities.
• Monitor safe working practices and high-risk activities.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Deliver safety inductions and awareness sessions to offshore personnel.
• Maintain safety records and contribute to reporting.
• Assist emergency preparedness activities, drills and exercises.
• Liaise with offshore supervisors, contractors and onshore HSE teams.
