Job summary

Van Oord in the Netherlands is seeking an Offshore Crane Operator to safely operate cranes on offshore projects worldwide. You will lift operations on platforms, pontoons, and ships, draft lifting plans, and perform crane maintenance.

You bring 3–5 years of crane experience (100T+), Stage 3 lifting certificates, and strong Dutch and English communication. The role offers a 5 weeks on/off rotation, international travel, and opportunities for training within a dynamic global team.

Qualifications

• Requires Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 certificate and other lifting certificates.
• 3-5 years of crane experience with at least 100T capacity.
• Experience with hydraulic systems.
• Strong Dutch and English communication.
• Willing to work irregular hours and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Perform lifting operations on platforms, pontoons, and ships.
• Draft and execute lifting plans.
• Maintain and repair cranes, including hydraulic systems.
• Operate lifting cranes (100-1400 tons).
• Ensure a safe working environment around the crane.
• Demobilize cranes for various projects.
