Van Oord is seeking a 2nd Engineer for our offshore fleet in the Netherlands. You will oversee the safe operation of main technical installations, lead a small team, and ensure compliance with procedures and regulations during your watch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Maritime Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong safety culture and hands-on problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Manage main technical installations during watch and supervise the team.
• Plan, delegate and monitor corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot onboard issues.
• Coordinate maintenance with nautical and operations teams.
• Coach less experienced crew and promote a safe work environment.
