Job summary

Nike Cycling is seeking a commercially minded Category Manager Off-Bike based at our Amsterdam headquarters. You will own the Nike-branded off-bike apparel assortment, defining products, launches, and market demand across global cycling and sportswear cultures through our independent bike dealers network.

In this role you will align with Nimbl/Nike Apparel, Sports Marketing, and Supply Chain, ensuring quality per The Nike Standard and managing three streams: Pro Team, Team Merch, and Core

Qualifications

• Commercial drive focused on driving sales and margins in cycling and apparel.
• Assortment Planning & Range Architecture: 2+ years in category management, PLM, or range planning in sportswear/cycling.
• Uncompromising Quality & Nike Standards: strict adherence to product testing and brand embellishment standards.
• Market Insight & Trend Analysis: identify consumer demand in premium cycling culture.
• Seasonal Launch & Drop Management: track release calendars aligned with cycling seasons.
• Nike & Factory Network Liaison: liaise with factories on production lead times and specs.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: collaborate with Sports Marketing, Sales/E-commerce, and Operations.
• Procurement & Inventory Control: monitor purchasing cycles and stock turnover.

Responsibilities

• Define global off-bike range architecture and track product mix, colorways, and pricing tiers.
• Conduct market research to identify consumer needs in premium sports and cycling culture.
• Maintain seasonal launch timelines aligned with WorldTour calendar and global retail seasons.
• Curate custom off-bike kits for pro teams and athletes.
• Drive fanwear ranges for global e-commerce and wholesale channels.
• Coordinate with Nike factories on production specs, lead times, and samples.
• Monitor inventory health and forecast demand to minimize stockouts.
