Job summary

Bugaboo Group seeks a Product Developer for OEM Projects to bridge visionary design and practical engineering. You will define product requirements and engineer 3D CAD models (SolidWorks) for production-ready development, coordinating with global suppliers and external engineers.

The role calls for a hands-on prototyping mindset, strong supplier management, and a track record in premium durable consumer goods.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in Industrial Design Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
4-7 years of product development experience in premium durable consumer goods.
Excellent CAD modeling skills (SolidWorks) and understanding of early concept development.
Experience outsourcing engineering and managing external partners/OEMs.
Hands-on prototyping mindset; able to build early prototypes.
Strong analytical skills with a design-focused mindset.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Convert technical product concepts into SolidWorks CAD models for manufacturing.
Translate commercial needs into technical specs and validation plans.
Outsource work and supervise external engineers to ensure project quality.
Test and validate prototypes against requirements and standards.
Identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven design improvements.
Design and maintain CAD file management and project documentation.
Stay at the forefront of industry developments and standards.
