Job summary

NRG PALLAS seeks an experienced inspection professional to ensure the highest technical quality across the PALLAS reactor project from design to commissioning. You will work with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to enforce IMS QA/QC processes and ensure regulatory and contract requirements are met.

The role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional with IKT Level II/IWT or equivalent, 5+ years in technical quality control, and strong English.

Qualifications

• IKT Level II, IWT, or an equivalent qualification in welding, inspection, or QA.
• Minimum 5 years in technical quality control, preferably in large-scale new-build projects.
• Experience with pressure equipment and design codes such as ASME.
• Knowledge of PED and Machinery Regulation (MR).
• Strong English language skills.
• Valid Category B driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors comply with project QA/QC processes.
• Provide quality control guidance to Engineering, Construction and Supply Chain teams.
• Review engineering designs and procurement docs, including ITPs and NDE records.
• Oversee quality control activities across the technical supply chain.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, inspection, and testing to verify compliance.
• Identify, document, and support resolution of quality non-conformities.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records and evidence of compliance.
• Support verification of regulatory, technical, contractual and project quality requirements.
• Identify, assess and manage quality-related risks, issues and improvements.
