Job summary

NRG PALLAS seeks a specialist in ageing management to lead activities related to ageing of nuclear plant structures and systems. You will collaborate with maintenance, inspection and system engineering teams to gather inputs for AMRs and AMPs and contribute to local and international projects in plant life management and LTO.

The role requires a MSc in a technical field, 5+ years in the nuclear sector, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Nuclear engineering background is an asset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ageing management activities for nuclear SSCs.
• Contribute to AMRs and AMPs in Long-Term Operation contexts.
• Identify ageing effects and degradation mechanisms and define management measures.
• Support local and international plant life management projects.
• Interact with maintenance, inspection, chemistry and system engineering to gather inputs.
• Identify gaps and propose improvements to strengthen ageing management.
• Ensure alignment with international standards and plant requirements.
• Contribute to technical studies and internal knowledge development.
