Job summary

Pallasreactor is seeking an experienced specialist in ageing management to join the AM|LTO team in the Netherlands. The role focuses on developing and implementing ageing management activities for nuclear plant SSCs and contributing to AMRs and AMPs within Long-Term Operation projects.

You will identify ageing effects, work with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure alignment with international standards while supporting international and national projects. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• MSc in Mechanical, Materials or Process Engineering required; nuclear background is an asset.
• 5+ years of experience in the nuclear field, preferably in maintenance, inspection, system engineering or ageing management.
• Basic understanding of degradation mechanisms and maintenance/inspection practices.
• Experience with technical plant documentation (P&IDs, system descriptions, records).
• Fluent in English; Dutch language knowledge or willingness to learn is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ageing management activities for nuclear plant SSCs.
• Contribute to AMRs and AMPs in the context of Long-Term Operation (LTO).
• Identify ageing effects and degradation mechanisms and plan corresponding measures.
• Support national and international plant life management projects.
• Collaborate with maintenance, inspection, chemistry and system engineering teams.
• Identify gaps and propose improvements to strengthen ageing management framework.
• Ensure alignment with international standards and plant requirements.
• Travel for on-site support, workshops and technical meetings as needed.
