Job summary

IOTA Group, an international engineering and technical assistance company, is seeking a QA/QC Piping Site Officer for a major industrial project based in Maasvlakte, Rotterdam. You will ensure quality requirements during construction and commissioning, with emphasis on piping systems, welding, inspections, and pressure testing.

Qualifications

• IWT (International Welding Technologist) certification required.
• MT, PT, and VT inspection methods certified.
• Familiarity with piping and welding international codes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Site QA/QC Manager.
• Act as QA/QC representative to clients, partners, subcontractors, and inspection bodies.
• Ensure compliance with the site Quality Management System.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities and interfaces between disciplines, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and internal quality requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documentation and reports.
• Participate in technical audits and quality assessments of contractors and suppliers.
• Perform site inspections related to piping installation, mechanical works, and welding activities.
• Witness and monitor pressure testing activities (hydrostatic and pneumatic tests), ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Review, comment on, and approve Construction Quality Dossiers submitted by contractors.
• Coordinate with local authorities and third-party inspection agencies when required.
• Track quality KPIs, non-conformities, corrective actions, and project quality milestones.
• Promote a strong quality culture and continuous improvement mindset across all project stakeholders.
