Job summary

ASML US, LP. in Eindhoven is seeking a MSc/PhD-level technical leader to guide the illumination, sources and dose control (ILLDC) efforts for dry systems. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, drive integration of new products, and coach colleagues to push technology boundaries.

You will partner with system engineering, marketing and programs to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results, while setting goals and mentoring a growing team of MSc and PhD-level professionals.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Physics/Engineering with clear demonstration of excellence, expertise and leadership.
• Able to communicate with multidisciplinary teams, functional lead engineers and vendors across electronics, mechanics, optics, software and mechatronics
• Experience in high-tech system development
• Experience with functional lead engineering work (spec breakdown, work breakdown, solution comparison)
• 2+ years as technical functional lead engineer (architect) or similar, preferably in optics domain
• Established experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and customers

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical professionals to ensure successful project execution with high-level vision and guidance.
• Secure quality by reviewing functionality and specifications with the team.
• Prioritize personal and team work with the project leader, and take accountability for outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and coach less experienced colleagues.
• Define functional and system design at lead engineer level for both software and hardware developments in a multidisciplinary agile team.
• Generate and maintain performance overviews and steer developments.
• Maintain close contact with suppliers regarding technical specifications and demands.
• Contribute to the ILLDC roadmap by delivering solutions that enhance customer value.
