Job summary

BDR Thermea Group is seeking a Procurement Manager Commercial & DAC to lead procurement for New Product Development. You will drive time-to-market, cost targets, and a resilient supply base, collaborating with R&D, Product Management, and Quality across the business.

You will be based at our Apeldoorn headquarters, working 2–3 days per week on-site with flexibility for the remainder of the week. English fluency and a global perspective are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement and supplier management experience in an international environment.
• Experience working with product development, engineering, or technical teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive results across functions.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Proactive, organized, and hands-on mindset.
• Global perspective and ability to build relationships across cultures.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement sourcing strategies aligned with Group Procurement and Commodity strategies.
• Lead supplier selection and engagement for new product introductions.
• Partner with R&D, Product Management, Quality, and Procurement teams across the business.
• Drive performance against key objectives including time-to-market, cost targets, sustainability, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with country procurement teams to maximise synergies and alignment.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and ways of working across the Group.
• Lead and develop the Business Unit procurement team.
