Job summary

BDR Thermea Group is seeking an experienced procurement leader to manage all procurement aspects of New Product Development, ensuring timely launches at targeted costs and quality. You will lead and develop the BU procurement team, coordinate with R&D, Product Management, Quality, and suppliers, and drive time-to-market, cost, sustainability, and risk reduction.

The role requires strong international collaboration, strategic sourcing, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement leadership in international settings.
• Experience with product development, engineering, or technical teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional results.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Proactive, organized and hands-on mindset.
• Fluent in English; extra European languages are advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement sourcing strategies aligned with Group Procurement.
• Lead supplier selection and engagement for new product introductions.
• Partner with R&D, Product Management, Quality, and Procurement teams.
• Drive performance on time-to-market, cost, sustainability, risk.
• Align with country procurement teams to maximise synergies.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes.
• Lead and develop the Business Unit procurement team.
