Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Country General Manager to lead Dutch operations for a fast-growing international restaurant group. The role demands strategic oversight of profitability, location growth, and stakeholder management across the Netherlands.

You will drive end-to-end execution, oversee landlords and regulatory relations, and partner with owners on expansion into Benelux. Fluent Dutch and English are required, with strong leadership across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site leadership experience in restaurant chains or hospitality with full P&L accountability.
• Fluent Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Residence near central-Netherlands head office and valid driving licence.
• Deep experience of Dutch F&B landscape: leases, landlords, permits, and suppliers.
• Proven ability to build and retain strong management teams with a people-first culture.
• Commercial sharpness, organisation, decisiveness and broader group alignment.

Responsabilités

• Formulate strategy and Dutch market roadmap with annual operating plan guidance.
• Track market dynamics including competitors, consumer behavior, and regulatory shifts.
• Own the P&L and drive profitability and like-for-like sales growth.
• Coach and mentor area managers, general managers and marketing talent.
• Uphold brand standards, guest hospitality, and food safety across locations.
• Direct local marketing in partnership with group marketing and agencies.
• Oversee regional distribution and supplier relationships for new menu launches.
• Represent the brand to municipalities, landlords, regulators and vendors.
• Drive expansion by identifying and securing new real estate with construction division support.
• Engage with leadership and contribute to European expansion strategy.
