Job summary

Mercure Amsterdam City is seeking a dedicated Night Receptionist for a 3-day per week schedule. You are the night-time guest contact, handling check-ins/outs, answering queries, and promoting ALL Accor Live Limitless loyalty program. Support from a colleague is always provided to ensure seamless service.

You should have prior hotel front desk experience, strong English communication, and be willing to work 11:00 pm–7:00 am in a dynamic environment in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Experience at hotel front desk (night), delivering warm, professional service.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus.
• Familiarity with Opera Cloud is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during night shifts; check-in/out when needed.
• Provide insider tips about Amsterdam and promote loyalty program.
• Maintain smooth, guest-focused experience with team support.

At Mercure Amsterdam City, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Receptionist for 3 days per week to ensure our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay, from the moment they arrive until they check out.

Job Description

As the face of the hotel during the night, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests. You provide warm, professional, and personal service, whether you are checking guests in or out, offering insider tips about Amsterdam, or assisting with special requests. You will also play a key role in informing guests about our ALL Accor Live Limitless loyalty program, and have the skills to turn any issue into a positive experience. Oh and don’t worry, you won’t be working alone: during your shift, you will always have a colleague by your side for support and teamwork.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for? In this role you have a proactive attitude and you are always looking for ways to improve our services. You are available for 3 days per week, very flexible and you are willing to work in a dynamic environment during the night from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am. Besides you have:

• You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written;
• You are fluent in English, and if you also speak Dutch, that’s a big plus!;
• Previous experience at a hotel front desk;
• Familiarity with Opera Cloud isa bonus. Not required, but it would definitely put a smile on our faces!
